Hi there, I'm Massimo - a hybrid professional who specializes in the crossroads of leadership, business development, education, and coaching.
Originally from Verona, I spent over 16 years in Cape Town working as a tourist guide and tour leader, traveling extensively throughout Southern Africa. My experience there taught me to create a safe space for people, foster trust, build teams, facilitate constructive dialogues, and manage crises, conflicts, and chaos.
During my time in Africa, I learned about the traditional philosophy of "Ubuntu," which means that an individual is only an individual through others and that we are all interconnected. Ubuntu embodies values of collaboration, humility, and humanity, promoting harmony and sharing amongst society's members.
Inspired by Ubuntu and Systemic Coaching, I explore the ecosystem in which individuals or teams operate to unlock their potential and performance. I believe that all elements and people within a system are interconnected and impact one another.
My approach aims to create systemic wellness and psychological safety within the workforce to foster ideal communication, creativity, feedback, and employee effectiveness aligned with an organization's vision and mission. Ultimately, this leads to greater and sustainable ROI.
Looking forward to connecting with you!

What coaching is
The International Coaching Federation (ICF) defines coaching as partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential. The process of coaching often unlocks previously untapped sources of imagination, productivity and leadership.
What systemic coaching is
Systemic coaching is defined by coach and author, John Whittington as an approach to coaching which, “coaches the individual client or team with the system in mind—exploring the part in the whole, and the whole in the part—so as to unlock the potential and performance of both.”
By highlighting the system (e.g. organization, team) that an individual functions within, systemic coaching can add wider context to the coaching process. Fundamentally, systemic coaching attempts to bring wider perspective to the process by encouraging individuals and teams to consider the ecosystem they’re embedded within while also developing their own self-awareness.
Systemic coaching is rooted in Systems Theory, which explores the interconnections between elements and encourages the client to consider the system in which they operate and the connections between the parts of the system.
